Who we are

Rêverie ensemble was founded in 1998 by Italian composer and guitarist Valerio Vado.
We call our music "ethno-progressive" or "Marco-Polo-music", because we blend sounds and instruments from Italian and mediterranean folk, baroque, classical and 70's progressive music, in the wake of artists such as early Genesis, Mike Oldfield, Dead Can Dance, Loreena McKennitt, PFM, Gianluigi Trovesi, Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare.
The ensemble performed in Italy and other European countries and released three demos and three official albums, well revieved by Italian and foreign press.
In 2016 our album "Gnos furlanis, il Timp dal Sium" got a nomination for the prestigious Italian award Targhe Tenco, in the category "Best album in dialect or minority language".
Our music is broadcasted by main Italian and foreign tv and radio stations among which RAI 3 and Radio China International.
Since 2012 we also collaborate with the alternative choir "Policrome Khoròs", directed by Fanny Fortunati.
